I honestly dont know where to start with this one but I'll give it a go anyway. For starters the colours of the font and background do not go well together at all. The other major problem is that this poster tells me absolutely nothing about the movie, all it is is text, and bigger text, this very well could be a great movie though i doubt it, but if i were to just see this poster and have to make a decision about whether or not to go see it, I know for a fact that i would not even consider it.

Good Movie Poster

To me this movie poster seems to work very well for several reasons. The first thing that makes this poster pop out is simply the background, stripes in general usually attract your eye better and faster than plain flat single colours, add to that the fact that said stripes are orange and white, two colours that dont often go together and its good. The second thing that makes this poster work well, is that the text is easy to read and the image gets to the point of the movie, a pregnant teen and her boyfriend.

Well, I have finally been brought the blog scene, I just hope all goes well, I'll be posting things related to my art work and my Graphic Design Class here, though as of this moment the set up for this blog is still under construction, though that should be done by next week.
